EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAMME

Is It Time for a Developmental Assessment?

Many parents sense something isn't quite right long before a formal diagnosis. You don't need to wait for certainty. A developmental assessment is a gentle, structured way to understand where your child is - and whether early intervention could help.

Early Screening

A simple assessment identifies developmental delays in speech, play, social skills, and behaviour.

Clear Direction

You'll leave understanding your child's current milestones and what support, if any, is recommended.

No Obligation

An assessment is just information. There's no pressure to enrol - only honest, professional guidance.

Is Your Child Missing Key Milestones?

Early Intervention Can Change the Course of Your Child's Life

Why Early Intervention Changes Everything

From the first years of life, a young child's brain develops at an extraordinary rate. The earlier intervention begins, the more effective it is - which is why early intervention before age 3 produces the strongest, most lasting results.

Benefits of Early Intervention
My First Book

Build communication and language skills - the foundation of early intervention

Kids in Preschool

Strengthen play and social interaction with other children

Cute Boy

Reduce challenging behaviours through structured support

Learning to Read

Improve learning, attention, and school readiness

Raising Arms

Prepare for a confident transition into mainstream schooling

Research consistently shows that the earlier a child receives early intervention, the greater their long-term success in school and life.

When Should Early Intervention Start?

If you’ve noticed that your child isn’t meeting key milestones – such as talking, walking, engaging with others, or playing. It may be time to act.

You're Not Alone in Wondering

Every parent who notices something different in their child asks these same questions. Here are the thoughts we hear most often - and what years of experience have taught us.

It's natural to think:
"He'll catch up on his own - boys just talk late."

What we've learned:

Many children do develop at their own pace. But when delays persist beyond 18-24 months, early support can make a real difference - and there's no harm in simply checking.

It's natural to think:
"Therapy might feel like too much for such a young child."

What we've learned:

Early intervention is play-based, warm, and natural. It builds skills through connection and fun - not pressure. For a young child, it simply feels like play.

It's natural to think:
"I don't want my child to be labelled."

What we've learned:

A diagnosis isn't a label - it's a key. It unlocks the right support, understanding, and school accommodations. Knowing simply means your child gets the help that fits them.

It's natural to think:
"Maybe I should wait for the school or doctor to raise it first."

What we've learned:

You know your child best. If something feels different, it's always okay to ask early. A gentle assessment brings clarity - and peace of mind, whatever the outcome.

It's natural to think:
"Therapy is only for children with severe autism."

What we've learned:

Early support is often most powerful for children with mild or moderate needs - because the earlier it begins, the less is ultimately needed. Every child is welcome, wherever they are.

Whatever you're feeling right now, you don't have to figure it out alone. We're here whenever you're ready to talk.

Throughout these 10 months, my son's eye contact has improved. His ability to imitate the words has been improved. He manages to pronounce more words. Thank you!

G. Samykany

Since my daughter started at Autism Link 3 years ago, she has made wonderful progress - especially in managing her emotions and behaviour.

She can now follow instructions calmly and express her needs and wants.

Mrs Wong

We are thankful to Autism Link for C’s progress. From refusing to talk, he is now speaking, responding, and even joining in songs and actions.

After only 3 months of therapy, he was able to attend preschool, follow instructions, and enjoy school life with his peers. Thank you team.
